Show Pony Hair Extensions takes VAMFF by storm

Showpony Professional were the official hair extensions supplier at Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival 2014 and have been for the last 5 years. Hair extensions were a huge hit in this years show and are the next big thing in the fashion world! Two of Australiaʼs most talented and influential hair stylists Brad Ngata & Caterina Di Biase used Showpony tape extensions, clip in extensions and clip in ponytails throughout 7 different catwalk shows.

Runway 7 – Shop Till you drop:
The Shop Till you drop look was twisted hair pulled to the side with glamorous waves and fab braids!

Runway 6 – Harpers Bazaar:
Harpers Bazaar had a gorgeous wet/dry textured look pulled back into messy bun

Runway 5 – Cosmo:
The look for cosmo was a three dimensional ponytail with a sleek mohawk style at the front and a sleek, long ponytail created using Showpony Hair Extensions.

Runway 4 – Elle Magazine:
Elle showcased gorgeous, sleek waves with a deep side part creating a fresh, natural look

Runway 3 – Frankie:
Frankie tied the knot (literally) with a modern twist & a clip in ponytail sprayed with coloured hairspray for a dramatic, stand-out look!

GET THE LOOK:
1. Apply L’Oréal Professionnel Mythic Oil Milk to towel dried hair for nourishment and to enhance a natural healthy shine. Blow dry in and then iron the hair straight. Create a clean centre part.
2. Using a fine tooth comb, back comb the roots in two small sections above each ear. Smooth and pull the lengths back and secure with a hair tie just above the nape. Make sure the ears are covered. If your client has short hair, add a hair extension to the ponytail for extra length.
3. Spray the hair with L’Oréal Professionnel Tecni.Art Crystal Gloss for a shine boost. Tie the ponytail into a knot and secure with bobby pins.
4. Spray hair with L’Oréal Professionnel Infinium Hairspray to hold style in place and inject some colour into your lengths by applying L’Oréal Professionnel HairChalkapproximately half way down the ponytail or use a coloured spray. The colour is up to you!

Instyle went sleek and Straight. Hair pulled back with gel to achieve a slick wet look

Runway 1 – Miss Vogue:
Miss Vogue styled the minimal ponytail. A clean graphic deep side part with high sheen detail giving the hair freshness and complimenting the striking makeup.
